You can't use Grogbuild or wooshbuild on any ATV image above 6.4

Yes by reflashing it.
Reboot it first, then flash by command line or via usb

But it just boots straight in the Grog...

If it's not flashing and just restarting into Grogbuild your box isn't recognising the usb
Are you trying to flash openvix by command line or by usb?
You need to initialise the usb first in the menus

So does the box not boot at all?
If it does then you can use flash online via blue button
If it does then you can use flash online via blue button

Yes so I asked how you were trying to flash it and I've worked out from the above that you are downloading the image and using the usb method.
The box doesn't recognise the usb so any image you put on it won't flash.
Either get another usb or format the one you have (FAT32) before you start

By command line, it's the only way anyone puts Grogbuild on.
You can try going through the online flash option but it's unlikely to work as the usb is invisible to the box.
In the menu, go to storage devices and initialise it from there

Do you know the Ip address of the box? Can you connect to the box using Putty?
