Satellite H7s stuck on boot

i have open atv 6.4 on the box, but when the power is lost at the back of the box the box will not boot up straight away,
if i reflash it does it need to be recovery image or will the original image still work,
im new to all this so bear with me if i sound silly

Why is the power being lost? The box needs to be shut down properly using the deep standby option.
Just cutting the power won't do it any good in the long run.

i put into standy using the remote,
then plugged it out as i needed to move it ,as i powered it back up it was stuck on boot.
i got it going again eventually by holding the power button on the box,
it seems fine now but i dont want i think i was lucky to get it going again

thanks for this info,
so if i need to reflash i just need to use recoery file and follow flashing procedure and always turn off boy by going into deep standby
thanks

Format your USB stick with this:
http://www.willobuild.net/files/Utilities/Preparing Flash Drives.zip

Download this image and extract to USB stick:
https://www.openvix.co.uk/openvix-builds/zgemmah7/openvix-5.4.001.release-zgemmah7_recovery_emmc.zip

Insert stick into white rear USB port and power on whilst holding the little button in under the front flap until FLSH appears on LCD.

If you can't get it going don't bin it, I've just fried the mobo on mine
Do you know any links where i can get this but for Mac OS? Any hlp would be so appreciated:)

Can you just format the usb to fat32 on a mac using the built in format utility?

I've never used one. Apparently it's like buying a car with the bonnet welded shut
