Heinz - Enigma2 catchup plugin

Sorry for the late reply: I think you'll need to upgrade to OpenVIX 5.3, as that's a known issue with 5.2.

The only thing left of Heinz once you uninstall are the previous settings (so you don't lose it across Heinz upgrades), but those are unrelated to the crash I think you're having; sorry for that. If you can't update the box, let me know and send a crash log via DM, I'll see what I can do.

Your right again , flashed openvix 5.3.010 and its now working as it should

In the setup via menu button ,what is Use new XCAPI ? What does this actual do is it worth enabling any tips on what changes to be made over the default setting in Heinz

"New XC API" is just about some program duration of seconds vs minutes; if it's working fine for you, don't enable it, unless you want to experiment (it possibly would give you weird behavior); if it's not working, then by all means, try and enable it.

There are way too many settings (22) in Heinz, each of them added for a particular reason... The ones for general use are supposed to be more or less well self documented (if your skin doesn't show it, take a peek at the setup.xml file), the ones to overcome some quirkinesses in providers or very specific behaviours, not so much :-) If you have a question on a particular one, just ask, either here or in telegram.

I think that issue (or similar) was solved on Heinz 6.2.2f, so upgrade to that version, or anything more recent (might as well go for the latest, 6.2.2q), and see how it works for you.

That means there's some unexpected JSON data in the response from the URL shown on the line starting with "k: https://...", I'd need to take a peek at it to exactly understand the issue, but I suspect some error message is being returned instead of proper program data... If you want me to take a look at it, send it over DM.

You're not in any trouble, just keep all related posts in one thread so others with the same problem can follow it and find solutions.
If I've followed this correctly, you need to paste your K line (without the xxxxxx) into your browser address bar and click enter, this will produce a file.
https://xxxxxxxxxxx/player_api.php?...&action=get_live_streams&start=99990000000000

Send that file to @oottppxx by private message

Sorry for being a complete noob here but what does this plugin actually achieve me to do? Does it work on OpenATV 6.4?
Belated answer: if your provider supports catchup, this plugin will help you access it, if the API is supported. There are other ways for accessing such content, like KiddaC Jedi and Xstreamity plugins, or other older/paid plugins as well. Yes, it should work on oatv6.4.
