help back up of openatv

hi everyone

how can i make a backup of my image on open atv as i have set it to my personal liking and now want to put on another box

sorry for not answering you in my skin thread, but I got to keep it skin related otherwise my thread gets out of hand.

easiest way.

format a usb drive on your computer.
open notepad
save the empty file as backupstick.txt
copy this to your usb stick.

place the usb in the rear usb port.


press blue button to bring up quick launch menu.

Software manager. ok

Complete backup. ok

Press green for usb

Your backup image will now be made.

Once it is finished you will end up with a couple of folders on your USB stick. the zgemma folder is your backup image.

I always then copy to my computer renaming the zgemma folder to the build and date.

Then in the future its just a case of putting back on your usb and renaming it zgemma
