anybody know how to sort my problem out? app not installed the package conflicts with an existing package by the same name on firestick thats what i keep getting when im trying to install an app?

Have you deleted your old apps?

You must have another app on there are what is the saying that you're trying to download

Have you tried main settings on stick
Applications
Manage installed applications
Select the app and delete

it dloaded the app fine its when i go to install it it comes up with that messege

It's because it's already installed so it can't install a second time.
Follow the advice above to remove it first then reinstall it

Or completely reset the firestick back to factory settings then install everything and new app again

pablo its not there to uninstall this is what im saying only thing i can think of when i uninstalled it last time it never took everything with it is there an app that will find it by package name?

Is there any reason why you can't reset the stick as mentioned above?

It could be the smallest trace of a file that's conflicting with a new install better to factory reset it then its deffinatly been removed

After deleting old apps I run SD Maid to clear any residue they leave behind ,it may help..

Yeah definitely, failing that next step is a factory reset. That's what I hate about fireos it's prone to these errors due to lack of user control, better trying to use a rooted stock rom or custom Os but that's a different ballgame.
