How do you remove IPTV test line from box?

As title says, how do you remove tests from zgemma h2s box?
Or perhaps you don't need to, another IPTV line overwrites the old one ...no!
It was easy to remove old N and C lines.
Thanks in advance.

the danger of running someone elses script on your machine?
There is no easy answer to that

If it was a plugin you should be able to remove from the plugins menu

Ok, thanks good to know that, I flashed the box again just to make sure its gone but you cant flash the box every time.

It all depends who wrote the script but most of them are roughly the same.
You will have either 1 or multiple iptvxx.sh scripts in etc/enigma2 (where xx is numbers and or letters) along with the actual bouquets. You will have a file called enigma2_pre_start.sh in usr/bin.
Depending on how the provider does things you will also probably have cron timers setup that will need removing too.

Removing the Enigma 2 script

Whilst watching a channel press the down arrow on the remote
then press the blue favourites button
highlight the bouquet that you want to delete first then press menu button
then remove entry
then yes to remove
then repeat the same process until all the IPTV bouquets are removed.
once they are removed, press the menu button again, but this time you want to purge deleted bouquets.

Then ftp into the box and go into /etc/enigma2 and delete all the iptv.sh files

Then go into /etc/epgimport and remove all the files except:
readme.txt
rytec.sources.xml
satmate.sources.xml

and then finally go into /etc/cron/crontabs and remove the root file.

Then reboot.

Hi

I've got a script installed but I want to test some more tests incase my current one goes down hill

Do I need uninstall my current script to test new line or can I just Install the new script straight away??

It might be too late for some, but certainly for Vix the easiest, quickest and cleanest is to do an image backup before any test, or any number of tests, then restore that image before another test.

Hi

I accidentally deleted the satmate and readme txt files. Could this cause issues now with my epg info?

Thanks
