With my Disqec switches
Port1 13.0E 13F/13G
Port2 19.2E 1KR/1L/1M/1N
Port3 23.5 E
Port4 28.2 E 2E/2F/2G

Then the other satellites dish
I have two wf.100 satellite cables
Tunner A is set Disqec A/B
13.0E Hotbird 13F/13G 19.2EAstra 1KR/1L/1M/1N
Tunner B single Sat 28.2 East Astra 2E/2F/2G
I wired this way so if the Disqec switch ever
Fails i still have 28.2 E

Afternoon guys. I have a v8 uhd and viark sat 4k. Both have 16e/19.2e/28.2e atm. I have added 23.5 but it’s only a single lnb. I have a splitter lying around. Can I use a splitter to create x2 outputs then connect these into a diseqc for each receiver? As long as I only watch 23.5e on 1 receiver at a time? If it’s possible would I drop much quality? Cheers.

Stick a multi lnb on instead save messing about

It would work but youll most likely forget at some point and burn out the splitter. Rough guess you loose 5% signal strength

Where can I source a few of these .

Btw issue on my Xtrend 8500 tuner C motor and tuner D Diseqc switch 13.19 2.28.2 , on a sky dish.
When on 28.2 tuner D the signal is perfect but after a while it just stops 0%. 13.& 19 remain ok .
Happens on both Vix and Atv , any idea how to trouble shoot this .

Can't resolve this , watching on tuner D ,28.2 and all of a sudden signal goes , was recording yesterday and obviously didn't record. I've try switching ports to no avail. 19.2 and 13 function fine

I rang three supposed European satellite installers locally, not one bothered to quote me, so I gave up

Sadly i don't have the room for two dishes, and I've been told that I can't have 28.2 e, 16e and 19.2e on the same dish without a motor. The wife still wants at least the FTA on 28.2e

Get an 80cm or better still a 90cm dish with multi lnb holder. Centre the dish on 16E using a good lnb like inverto, golden media, technomate gold, then
position a separate lnbs on the holder for 19.2E and 28.2E. This is a fixed dish setup. Downside is you have minimum 3 cables running into your house, however
the upside is you have dedicated and separate feeds from each satellite.
I have done this several times in the past. Trust me it works.
