How to update your channel list for Skyboxes

Thanks for the information Bees - When I used this on my Skybox F5 it did not work properly. I had to go to Factory settings and choose an option "Ignore Files", after this I could exit the Menu properly and the box rebooted to show a TV channel. I also deleted all channels before I updated the TB_PROG.dbs file.

It downloads as a zip file. You need to unzip it with a program like Winzip (or any other free unpacking program such as IZArc etc.). It will unzip to TP_PROG.dbs.

Where is the weblink directing you to?

If you just press the blue link in Kremmen post it will take you to the page, Look at post 244 and you wil lfind a download file you need to un zip it first before you put it on your usb

Ahh right...you think that JAKAK might be right-clicking on the link & trying to save that, instead of left-clicking to take him to the post containing the file.

Never thought of that.

btw...JAKAK, there's now a new sticky thread for channel lists for OCT/NOV/DEC.
 
I'm trying to upload the channel list. But when I press menu I'm not finding a Tools option. I Can see dump by USB but can't access it. Any ideas?
 
I have updated my Skybox F5 with AJ's latest list but some channels are now showing as invalid programme and I have lost some channels such as sky 1. has anyone else had these problems?
 
Does anyone know of a channel list that works on a cloned skybox f3,ive tried using ajs channel list in the past and it bricked the box
