iptv buffering

nope this happened before i reflashed. i was also hoping that the reflash might fix it i was told to create a hot swap file on my box recently and was told it should stop the buffering but that hasnt helped. the usb is plugged in still btw

One more thing you can try is to create a playlist file from your m3u url and ftp it to your box drive. You can then try running it via IPTV Player plugin - Local Media app. See how it plays through it, but I'd reckon you'll have no joy if the HD movies were buffering when you tested them on IPTV Player plugin.

so upon loading the m3u playlist into the local media app, the stream works for a minute then reloads itself and brings up the selection screen again gonna sound silly but would switching from 50 hz to 60 hz fix anything?

I really don't think so, but you can always try it. I think it's pointing more and more to a box issue. but is difficult to say much more when I haven't got the box in front of me.

ok now im thinking its my line..... so i just tried using the GSE app on my iphone and guess what? it did the same as my zgemma did!

But why would a movie streamed from a different source do the same? It's probably worth trying several movies from different sources if you're in any doubt - it shouldn't be hard to find a couple that work fine (if your box is capable).

I use ipab on a few boxes and they run fine.Initialize your hard drive, create a swap file and ipab recommends 50hz.Restart internet and box, also make sure your usb is large enough. Then If you still have problems I would say it is down to your provider.

i think i may have fixed the buffering issue, i did some digging around on my zgemma and noticed that within xtream editor i had the pitcons saved to internal memory!

I pay £5 per year for an epg guide that one of our suppliers sell and while setting up the guide i remember him saying that i should save the pitcons to a usb device and not internal, so i switched the pitcon save place to my usb and removed the pitcons saved on my internal memory via filezilla and now theres no buffering at all
