IPTV Buffers on Wifi/Wired (Connected to a VPN) Yet plays fine on 4G (Mobile Data) (Connected to the same VPN) Any ideas?

By the looks of that page they are currently only blocking VPN Websites. Unless I'm reading it wrong. WTF is going on lol! This is pathetic.

Known Issue? By the looks of things Virgin are quietly doing this by the looks of things. Contrary this only states they are blocking VPN Websites currently. Not the VPN itself. However, who knows what’s going on behind the scenes. This does seem too reflect more to my issue than anything else.
Bottom line with that, If the reference article is to be believed) is that they are primarily screwing with their DNS resolvers as a way of ruining your day.
If you were to setup a couple of experiments - 1. Try and use different independent DNS resolvers like say 1.1.1.1 and 9.9.9.9 and see how it goes. 2. (and this one is by far the best if you can manage it), use DNS over TLS or DNS over HTTPS at device or app level and that way the DNS lookups will travel encrypted and is as a result simply something they cannot mess with.

True, but not all VPN's are create equal - If you are getting DNS leaks when using the VPN by virtue of the setup, then they can still mess with it.
 
I think people are getting a bit paranoid. He has used some of the best VPNs in the business the issue is still the same

I think if virgin were blocking VPNs everybody using them would have issues. I think @TheSource has even said his supplier works fine. I personally just think it could be something overlooked at the suppliers end. It is a strange one.

I must say I have had no issues getting onto VPN websites.
 
I would add if VM were indeed blocking VM legit users including businesses would raise a s*itstorm with VM as well.
"s*itstorm" just about sums up very well the spats (exchanges of verbal brick-bats) that have in the past passed between vm and the likes of cisco over this very issue.
Things like that IMHO go to show that vm can allow it when pressured to do so, but generally they choose not to and instead just behave like the j-arthurs that they are.
 
VM are scum mate like all the big ISPs. No one is better than the other.

Be interesting if over time if most VM users will encounter the same issues.

Can't see it ending well though for VM and other ISPs with some hidden tactics they are carrying out
 
Dont know if this works, but I heard that v' m block vpn's using W3bsafe. You need to disable Websaf3 by logging into online v' m account, then my apps.
 
What hub is been used any external splitters or filters attached mate that could cause spikes I'm not clued up on vm so my input may not be as wise as others lol
 
Read somewhere on forum a few moons ago theres a piece of software you can put on pc laptop tablet that can monitor your broadband connection but can i hell as like remember which thread it was in etc.

I think it monitors spikes and disconnections etc maybe worth a shot.

Also check all connections upto the router including any splitters etc.
