I've had experienced the same behavior as you had; on and off IPTV (with numerous of providers - not all though).
As other suggested here as well; use a VPN, this is probably your solution to the problem (at least it was for me).
There are some larger commercial parties which seem to work well (as I read online), but if you are a bit techsavy and have some Linux experience you could also setup a private VPN relatively cheap with WireGuard or OpenVPN.
