I have tried many lines( some local cards) but every one gives me freezing with STV & CH4 HD.
Is there anyone from Scotland(ID-40981) that gets these channels freeze free?

Cheers

When you go into virgin media all channels, there should be loads of ITVhd channels, also when you are on STVhd, when you press the down arrow on your remote control, then press red button for all, does this not give you more STV hd channels to try and see if any of those work any better.

I see what you mean. I have 6 STV HD and they give me the same constant freezing or no pic at all.
Even tried the "Old" channels with no joy.

Tried all ITV Channels and no pic.

I do still have my sat cable, but I was under the impression it does not work with Zgemma H5.2TC ? If I'm wrong, is it just the case of plug & Play?

Your STV hds and ITVhds will work on sat, then you could move them onto your cable entertainment bouquets or whatever you use for your basic channels, place them next to your current cable versions. check them on sat now to see if they are working. Some lines cover cable and sat.

I have not had STV for least 5 months, i get STV +, That works fine, not sure how to get it back..My box H2H vm.

And you dont have a dish connected to it?
No i had wooshbuild, only one i have ever used..i still have softcam panel, i have never done any updates, i know if i do it i will lose softcam panel, as they say if it aint broke..Other than Stv and itv 4 sometimes but if get it working on other itv 4 anyway..Most days my box works great, don't want to temp fate..

Yes just cable, i stay in a listed building, you were not allowed sat dish up, either cable or nothing..

I have thought about that, for all i watch STV anyway, not saying i would never watch it..Just weird thing stv+ works but not stv ..sounds mad..lol

It is an old church i stay renovated into flats, when i moved in there was not even a tv signal , the council would not even let us put aerial up, there must been someone had sky cause they did have a dish up, but they idiots that rule the country told them to take it down..I had to go with VM just to get a picture.. i have been with them for near my whole mortgage..you got me thinking there 24 year, 1 year left..lol..Not really looked into what sky can do on a listed building, maybe can do it now without dish, i was sure someone told me you can, but not so sure about that..

You would still need the sky cable to connect to your box, but yes you can get sky without a dish these days, I dont know the ins and outs of it though, but its something you could look into, if your tv has built in freeview, you could try a booster signal indoor aerial since you are not allowed an outdoor one.
