GrogBuild Just updated to Grogbuild and now box wont do anything.

I can't because it says my USB isn't initialised. When I use putty and put in the command line.

I suspect it is a usb issue, if box can't recognise it as installed when tried to install GB and box freezing on boot - could be trying to load epg etc of of usb stiick

If you putty to your box and type the command:

df

does your stick show as a mount on /media/hdd? it should look something like:

Filesystem           1K-blocks      Used Available Use% Mounted on
/dev/root              3655616    795232   2654972  23% /
devtmpfs                370656         4    370652   0% /dev
tmpfs                       64         0        64   0% /media
tmpfs                   378984     12572    366412   3% /var/volatile
/dev/sda1            975558636  55818652 919723600   6% /media/hdd

if not try the following commands :

umount -a

mount -a

df

and see if it is mounted now

haha some mf has taken my script/post from Flash ATV via command line from the creators GrogBuild FreeRange - Leading the way to simplicity and posted it on another forum - cheeky mother ..... lol

When you tried a different power supply, what was the output ampage?
What is the ampage of the one that came with the box?

It's not getting enough power

its definately a usb issue, just been trying to sort it via pm, when trying to initialise the stick at the command prompt it is not initalising it. the stick is fat format

I reckon needs to do a new reflash of openatv.

once openatv is on initialise the usb.

then flash with grogbuild via terminal or putty.

This is the whole issue mate, I cant flash the box with any open atv image at all. the box isn't recognising any sticks at all.

he can't flash it, box not recognising usb stick full stop, so cant usb flash and cant flash via command line nor online flashing tool
