Nah mate just old crappy PC lol. Had for nearly 8 years I think now.

Did do virus and malware check but nothing came up.

From unticking the setting in power options does shut down. Not sure how big of a difference will be with leaving it unticked.

Just a bandage of the real issue atm whatever that is.

But will look at other options stated on here to see if is completely fixes the issue.

Alot on here for sure so appreciate the help and advice given.
 
You could try remove the most recent windows updates which could have caused the issue. :-
On the Start screen, press the Windows Key + W and in the search box that appears, type in "View installed updates." Click the "View installed updates" link. You'll see a list of your most recent updates. Click the one you want to remove, click Uninstall, then follow the prompts.

If you have a system restore set up, this could be an option by rollling back to a time before the issue started.

P.s ditch windows 8, no one likes Windows 8 :tearsofjoy:
