Hello,

The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code

It usually begins with M or V followed by SIX digits ...such as M654321 or V654321

Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number

Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing

Hi. I have changed my battery and now radio is asking for a code,but I cand find it.
Can someone help me? Serial number is M166886.

Hi, sorry if I have already posted this.

I purchased some of the release keys from eBay (99p) and have now been able to get the serial number V014788. Could someone now please help me out with the code. Thank you.

I don't know what you have bought, sounds fishy to me.

V series codes can only be got from a main dealer, or a paid service

Thank you. So how do I contact main dealer ? Just call the local Ford garage ? or how do I find a paid service please ?
The release keys were just the metal things to pull the stereo out so I could see the serial number.
