Kodi 16 upgrade

My build is set up on 15.2 version , if I upgrade to version 16 of Kodi will I lose my build ?

If you go to the Kodi download page there are help sections for the different devices. It will tell you there.

To upgrade on my firestick I had to do a fresh install so yes I lost the build I was using. Some boxes allow you to back up images so you shouldn't lose them

Not unless the add ons you use most have stopped working.

You can use a program addon called "backup" to back everything up.

Managed to do it via fire starter , ideal and didn't lose the build .

I find it runs a lot smoother on 16. I'm using a Minix Neo 64x windows and M8 android box.

Yes it's worth doing in my opinion , no kick outs and runs smoothly .

Hi, just out of curiosity have tried a fork to get Kodi 17 on your Minix neo 64, I've tried and failed, someone said it could be to do with the Intel chip.
I've tried nearly all these forks without success.
