no m8 you must have internet to run k/v box yer box need to be connected all the time to view channels

Thanks for reply, he has virgin tv so he has live cable, what i mean is will it still be live if i split it and connect a router? or do they have a way of stopping that?

m8 you need a live internet connection all the time to run 1 of these boxes
