Lip Sync Issues with Brand New Amazon Firestick TV 4K

Cracked it I think
I found the possible solution on youtube
what I did
Reset the firestick
Loaded in my supplier
Installed vlc player
Changed sound to stereo
Cleared the cache of apps (youtube)
Put on SS News and the lip sync problem has gone

just reading this and i have an issue with lip sync using my iptv providers app

in sound settings on the firestick i don't have "stereo" as an option but "PCM" - what is that option/

Let me Google that for you:

PCM: This stands for “pulse-code modulation.” Use this setting if the external device you've connected to the HDMI port has already processed the sound, and you just want it to come out of your TV's speakers. Note: This changes the signal to 2.0 PCM as it passes through the TV.
