Metformin

Still using Splenda for cereals and canderel tablets for drinks.
Think i tried it once but local super market is not super as not stocked.

In January I got diagnosed as having type 2, and put on 2 x 500mg metformin a day.
My blood sugar was just 2 above the level for being diabetic.
The only lifestyle changes I have made was to cut out bread and fizzy juice.
Also only been taking 1 metformin a day and still drink alcohol as I did before.
At my last blood test in November I was told I am now pre-diabetic.
So maybe try cutting out fizzy juice and bread and see how you get on.

I can't believe it. Waited for my phone call of the doctors.

Never happened. Phoned them up she was arsey she said we told you we cancelled this as you already know what's wrong with you.

I said no I phoned on the day of the diabetes results text and you said my liver and kidney functions hadn't come back.

I phoned the day after and you said my liver was a problem and the nurse would like to talk to me Friday 3.30.

She said oh no we would never say that to you as we're not medically trained to do so.

Just come to you dietitian appointment on the 2nd Jan have a good Xmas and goodbye x

K. E. T. O. bread, is very low in sugars you do eventually get used to the taste
Sainsburys do a K E T O bread which is 5 carbs per slice. When i'm at work i used to replace bread with for example use corn beef slices and put for example tomato in that to hold it in.
