Nanny Settings

I have to say in reality having them on has never really caused me any trouble. I have never switched them off. I have had the following isps BT, TalkTalk, VIrgin.

I think in reality it may cause trouble accessing porn sites or gambling sites but others may of had different experiences

Would be useful to see the CIDR range your Router is using for DHCP. We can then confirm the router IP as Gateway
I'm going to guess you are using Windows.
Follow this link to open a command terminal window - link

Great - so we can see the router (gateway) is using the following IP = 192.168.100.1
Try either of these links....

http://192.168.100.1
or
https://192.168.100.1

They should return a webpage that will allow you to login to your router (hopefully)
Well it gives me the log in page however the password and user name on the back of the router is incorrect so I guess my isp has changed those details to stop users from accessing the settings

Do a search on the net for default log in for that router. It’s usually something like u: admin p: admin

Sounds like you'll need to give them a call or email so you can gain the logins.

I know with my isp they won't share them, instead they'll pop the device in bridge mode remotely.
