need help

i have 42 inch plazma samsung t.v touch screen when turning on red light goes out noting happens unpluged it by mains still nothing happens any idears plz ??? sorry if in wrong forum

You may need to drain all the power then restart the TV.

This is done by turning off the TV and unplugging it, then hold down the off buton for about 30secs.

I had the same problem and this resolved it.
