Bugs worked arround but not too many to be honest.
Few plugin rollbacks etc and file replaces from ibox 2+ lol.

Still working great and getting closer to 6/12/14 release date but cant back up image on unofficial vix 090.

As far as im aware you can back up on openatv and openpli and droid and italysat etc so far. So fingers crossed for unofficial vix
 
Yeh I'll defo be getting a few.
Going to buy a pc card with rs232 ports so I can use putty to make backup.
was looking at this if anyone with experience could confirm its suitable. Im also aware I need a null modem cable. Any direction on a model no. for that also plz? Cheers.

Any joy with the backup sucmnsee? Looks as though you've done a cracking job. I'm on the lookout for the Zgemma Star 2S - any UK sellers you know of or anything that put you off yet?
 
in post 11 the pics i found a problem as there is no spdif on rear off box as that is usually a square hole with a flap for fibre optic cable,they show a digital out in black like a phono cable used.
watch out if your hooking up to amp for sound.

I spotted that as well and first thought it might just be a manufacturing error but doesn't look like it is.

Shouldn't be an issue all surround sound amps should have support for both plus more modern ones carry audio over hdmi.

Shame about the second usb port behind the front flap i dislike this would rather have two at the rear or have the second on the side.
