I did ask previously but I didn't get an answer unless nobody knows.. What is the folder location for the radio.mvi as I want to change mine and all I can see is a .png which doesn't seem to change it. Also the location of the boot screen that shows the text open atv? Thanks!

I regards to any bug fixes kiddac is the latest ipk file the last one you will be uploading or is there still some bugs to squash?
 
that's all that been reported. Someone (mentioning no names ) had deleted there default skin and mentioned a few errors, but that was directly related to them deleting the default skin. but I have kindly fixed the choicebox popup if anyone is using the epg tabs thing, but that is it. I did amend the about us version number in one of the uploads to the correct. v2.0. But this skin is finished. It is not going to be an on going tweak here or there. I have given people plenty of time to highlight any errors, but that is it now.

thanks again Kiddac just messing around at moment making a scumnsee barebones and kiddac 2.0 combined image for myself to use on my mates boxes got 4 to do and will bang another beer over once got it working :)
 
why don't you just create your own image, if you pretty much know what you are doing now.

If you haven't seen it, I have a guide of how to do this for openatv, its pretty much the same for vix.

its in my dropbox folder under user guides.
 
and the good thing with having these pre made backup images if you mess up your own build or can't get your head around it, you can just reflash with their backup images and start again.
 
I get all excited when I suddenly get a load of likes pop up in my notifications. Then I soon realise it's just coz farashad has come on line and checking all my posts. ha ha.
 
I know the skins finished now, however just tried updating my EPG with crossEPG and it just give me a error and reboots, has anyone else had this problem? If not i'll try doing a clean install as it was working before but not needed it for a while.
 
well i was wrong and i admit it,
this is one hell of a skin and i must congratulate you on it, iv looked through it and now see you have spent many hours on this and not just in the graphics side of things

so iv tried this on the alien2 with a certain vix image that i dont promote and it works a treat, the tabs in the epg guide is a work of genius to whoever did the .py file and the rest of the coding, now to try it on openatv on the alien2 and see if it works on that,
again big thank you for all you time and hard work,i know whats it like when no thanks is given
 
well i know its late in the game, but those using open atv on the alien2 the skin works, but i had to load the original bluehd for it to work correctly, it looks like some of the skin.xml are still calling on the old skin bluehd for it to work correctly
 
It is not referencing anything from bluehd skin there is several elements that maybe werent skinned that i thought would just default back to the default skin. If you have removed the default skin, a few thinks might fail. Give Examples of what you think is broken andvi will look into it. Tweaks are finished. But anything that is broken i will try to fix.
 
Your answer is in your error message. As previously mentioned. You have a bootlogo plugin installed. Remove the plugin to install my skin.

Yes sorry i just removed the godfather boot logo and its worked.

ok it was on the openatv image and it was the graph epg guide, this is slightly different to the vix epg guide. the epg data wasnt skinned correctly if was a different colour so it may have defaulted to the original skin but it was only when i loaded up the bluehd that the guide colours corrected themselves, thats why i though it was referencing to the blue hd skin
hope that makes sense
 
Kiddac......we are in your debt for all the amazing hard work you have put in to this incredible skin. Thank you. One wee question....would it be difficult to show the frequency and transponder on the info bar etc instead of SNR?
