On the Remote Control activate the picons in the EPG
Menu, setup,system, epg, graphical infobar epg settings.
change service title mode to picons and service name. Press green to save
Then navigate to Menu, setup, system, epg, graphical epg settings - change
service title mode to picon and service name. Press green to save
Then go to Menu, setup, system, channel selection settings. Then change show
picons In service list to YES. Press green to save.
Restart box

Yeah ive tried updating rytec but says error, do you update software or whats the best way
Moving the picon folder to the HDD
Hi, I don't know if this has already been covered, but I've just been doing this today and thought I would share the info.
As you may or may not be aware that the picon's folder is quite big to put on the zgemma flash mem, so I wanted to move this to the HDD (i'm using SSD).
To do this:
1) FTP to your box,
2) From root, navigate to the /usr/share/enigma2/ folder
3) Delete the 'picon' folder
4) From root, navigate to the /media/hdd/ folder
5) Create a folder called 'picon' (without the ' ' )
6) Perform a telnet session to your box and login.
7) Type or paste the following command: ln -s /media/hdd/picon /usr/share/enigma2/
8) Exit the telnet session
9) From root, navigate to the /usr/share/enigma2/ folder (you should now see a picon folder with a arrow next to it)
10) Open the picon folder - If you check the remote site path (in fileZilla), it should now read: /media/hdd/picon
11) Copy in the picon's provided in post #1 of this thread.
12) Once complete, reboot your box.

Hi, just another observation, I noticed that some of the picon's are missing or not displaying for whatever reason. I've made a list as follows:
252 ?TV This is ?TV
534 LFCTV Panama Canal
701 onwards for all the Sky Box Office ones
911 TVXBrits
920 xxx big&bouncy
921 XXX Girl Girl
922 XXX Amateurs
923 XXX Extreme
924 Playboy TV Hot
945 Babes from TV
all of the sky anytime channels
I'm not sure if the picon's are missing, or they are not referenced correctly in the code.

Just an update, looks like most of the above can be resolved by using the picon's with the channel names.
Still missing are: 252, 534 and sky anytime.

Right guys and girls,
Macmain...regarding picons, there is details somewhere in this thread how to add picons. Just read through the thread it will only take you 5 mins at most ;)
General problems like missing epg, missing picons should be discussed elsewhere. Please keep this long thread specific to my skin. thank you.
I have nothing else to do today, so I am going to blitz lots of this off. I am going to do multiple releases today. Information will be on opening post.
Starting with the first update, I have skinned autobouquets section.
The pecking order for today is...
movies....seekbar and infobar.
radio screens
positioner setup (for people with motorised dishes)
then possibly dvd player plugin. (its slightly different than the media player).
Then I will be trudging through whats left and picking out things at random.
Vix specific screens are still to be done later on, as it would require me to reflash by box, and as my box is humming along nicely at the moment so I don't want to bugger things up)
Most of the screens I use are now skinned, so if there any particular screens that are bugging you and you want me to add to todays do list just give us a shout. screenshots help.

this is a vix specific screen. openatv screen is skinned and is named different. this test screen has just slipped through the net. It isn't finished. In fact it should even be in yet ;) It will be changed back to skin default on next update.

what a waste of a day, nothing went right, seekbar is coded absolutely awfully so pretty much impossible to skin properly.
This is where I am at with them. Seekbar is finished as their is nothing much else I can do with it.
Movie bar still needs a few minor tweaks. Gonna change the middle blue bar background to gold as there is just too much blue and I need to add in the service icons in the top right.
Timeshift box probably needs centering. Description needs shuffling across 5px.
V1.57 uploaded. It's not finished but you can have a play before I do my corrections tomorrow evening

I'm new to this skin, but looking at the screenshots, it looks really good; so I must be doing something wrong.
My main EPG is nothing like what it should look like, and the "right arrow" search looks weird too.
Other screens do look correct, so I must have done something wrong somewhere; I've removed and reinstalled the Skin, but the same thing happens.
Any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong?
