Looking forward to the epg numbers. Been waiting for a simple solution to this problem for a little while! :)

the update to my skin should be available after the weekend. I am just busy breaking everything at the moment. And I have broke a lot, considering I am only tweaking bits and bobs.
As for the numbers on the EPG, I won't be including that yet in my skin extras folders as the files that live on the other forum are the compiled version, so I can't check through them to see what they are doing yet. I have put in a request to get the uncompiled versions so we will see how that develops.

just like to say kiddac im a first time e2 user ,
and your pigs guide help me out a lot , and the skin the look like sly well what can i say i love it keep it keep it up;)
one more thing before i go, how arm i getting a white trim around my epg listing whem i click on the epg button
like on the first post of kiddac slyk 1 hd thread were it show i white trim around the picture graphical epg pig (epg button)i right hand corner,,
mine is all around the epg listing were as in the post pic its dark blue between the epg if u now what i mean any help be nice ,

I think this has been covered before a good few pages back on this thread. You need to press menu when you're on the epg.
I assume your screen looks like this right now...
Press menu and change the view mode to graphics...

just to confuse people I have totally removed the white border for the text view mode in my next update. It is now all the same colours as the graphical version. So unless you notice the gradient on the select bar (even this is more subtle on the next version) you won't know which screen your on ;)

You will be surprised what you can change if you are new to your box. Help button is also screen relative and will tell you roughly what buttons to press to do certain things.

I hate that wrong sky logo that is all over the net. This is the correct one. For those who know what to do with it.

thanks for that guys, well it looks like i got a lot to learn, ps and the missis is going crazzzz now i spend to much time on the computer :butkiss:so i think i should keep the kids hands off it for a wile less problems less computer time hahalol

hbbtv icon on info bar please mate yes with software update icon too (not used on zgemma but all other boxes do) yeah i agree SNR bar can go :) bigger next program
and tuner C and D icons would be great. hd icons etc are fine
i dont think cam details are needed on infobar looks crap m8 but picon in the infobar would be nice but no biggy :)

Well that was a lot less painful than I thought it would be. However, my 'movies' ( or file list ) screen looks a little bunched together. I went through all the settings in post 502 but it still looks odd. Not a biggy but does anyone else get this?
Just need to add the CrossEPG extra bits at some point. Do the tabs on the EPG screen actually work? Or are they just visual?

on movies lists, you probably want to read the text at the bottom right of that screen. I still don't know how people miss this.
If you install the tabs components, they work as in they scroll with prev and next buttons. and everything in the list shuffles across one. But they are not tabs as such.

I've scanned though this thread from page 30 to try an solve this very minor, yet very annoying problem I just cant fix for myself. So finally, I ask for help...
See the EPG selection tabs up top... How can I get rid of the provider (Sly UK) in order to only show the actual category i.e. Movies, Music, Sports etc.
Any help would be much appreciated, don't know how this seems to have only happened to me :idea:

Can't believe I didn't see the text on the files screen :)
Looks like I need to learn 'prev' and 'next' on my Harmony remote. I also didn't spot immediately that the +-24 functionality had changed and couldn't work out why my normal buttons weren't working
Tried that mate, set to no , reset etc. Still displays the same.
Thanks for the build, excellent piece of work, looks stunning. Certainly earned a beer from me at the very least!
