I know this is a ZGemma thread but I'm clutching at straws now, any openbox experts on here that could help me please??

so, basically I unplugged my v8s to install a completely different line on another box, when I plugged mine back in I got scrambled??? Checked my line in ccam and everything's online and know this line definitely works because it's on in my sons room!! Everything is as it should be on the box (or so I think) but I'm just not getting any channels (apart from fta) I've updated channel list also

any help please????????
 
Been on here for a while credit to the site and all the guys on here, I haven't had to write a direct post about anything all the questions I've had been able to find all the answers in the various threads. I have a v8s and zgemma s2 just bought h2s and would like to put this image on but can't download it from site I think because of not writing in.

Hi all! Newbie here, I've just bought and setup my new H2S box (upgraded from Openbox V5s) and I've installed the Slyk skin, searched all channels (found over 700)... my question is, how do I organize the channels into group categories? I hear people talking about Auto Bouquets etc but my box does not have that plugin installed as standard.
I'm trying to do everything myself but I'm struggling with this bit... is it easier to just download this build and start again?

Anyone's help would be greatly appreciated!

It's not difficult to install the plugin once you've downloaded the IPK file but using a build might give you a bit extra that you might not have thought to include/realise you might have needed. Personally now I've learned a bit about the box I'd put the plugin in myself but if you want the easiest method as a newbie just go with the build, it doesn't take long anyway.

new to techkings, i have just bought a h2s and with all the information on here should have no problem setting it up. great work and i'm sure alot of time has been spend getting this right. thanks.
 
Hi, hope someone can help with this. I use sucmnsee's image and it has been pretty much perfect. But since the BT Sport HD channels have gone down, I have replaced them with the SD variants by replacing the sat_282 file and running the ABM scan, which was fine. However the issue I am having is when I am backing up the image via backup-manager, when I try to restore the image, it installs it with the BT Sport HD instead of the SD. Is there anyway I can back the image up so it only has the SD versions or would I need to wait until sucmnsee has a new update?

My brother made similar upgrade, after several hours of head scratching and beer drinking we came across this image. Installed, up and running within 20 mins. Excellent setup, feels very much like sky.

I would like to ask you a (perhaps slightly off topic) question though, how does the picture quality of your new H2S compare to the V5S. In my brother's case the V5S is significantly better which is an obvious disappointment and something that deters me from making a similar upgrade to my own setup... I ask because I guess it's possible that the brother's new H2S has a fault?
 
Hi. I've tried every option (think) to get picture stretched fully on my tv but no luck. Does anyone know how to do that?Everything else works perfectly , really good job. Thanks
