newcamd.list to box

Hi, can someone please give me basic steps on how to get newcamd.list folder into my zgema?
I went to dream explorer, usr, keys and theres no newcamd.list folder there. I need to putty one over. please if you can help please.

It's not a folder it's a file
You can create a new file
Name it newcamd.list
Save
Open it and put your cws line in

So in filezilla im in usr-keys theb right click and create directory or create new file?

newcamd.list and CCcam.cfg are files, NOT folders

Create the file on your PC, enter your details then transfer it to location on receiver.

You don't need need Putty, any ftp program will do...like Flash FTP and copy the file across to the box......most likely the login will be:

user root pass dreambox

You dont even need an FTP program, just open windows explorer -> Network browsing -> box .......

Only if Samba service is running on box and network discovery is enabled on PC

Does newcamd.list go to the same place on all images?

That long since i used them is it to work with mg.camd.

No mention of box model to see if can use this as some have moved forward.

Best when posting say what box in use and in image been used on it.

Yes, mgcamd configs go in same place for all images and receivers.
