No ip address on mag bix 250

I'm trying to setup a mag box 250 for my brother.

I've added the portal and all that but I'm not getting any internet or a ip address to the box. I'm using ethernet. I've reset the box and router but still the same. Internet not available?

Can anyone help?

Have you gone into network settings-wired (ethernet) then auto (DHCP)

you do have a good lan cable inserted and see lights flashing? might have to reboot box and router.
