Cable No Vermin Channels - Sat all OK

Hi all,

Been using the H7 since it came out, all without any issues. Both sat channels and the 2 Vermin Channels have been great. Also been working on both 6.2 and 6.3 OpenATV.

For a couple of weeks now the Vermin Channels on both 6.2 and 6.3 have been down. Every channel.

I have checked all cables and connections - all OK.

Looks like I am gonna have to wipe at least one image and start again! Unless Vermin have stopped the hack?

Any help advice please
 
are you getting bbc 1 SD on cable?

If you run an ABM scan does it find channels on Cable?

If you run a manual scan on one of the cable tuners does it find channels?

No SD BBC1
Think it sees Cable channels, as it makes bouquets

I have just found out on Multiboot
- it is NOT changing to my selected image!!!
I have:
Slot 1 - OpenATV 6.2
Slot 2 - OpenATV 6.3
Slot 3 - OpenPLI 7.0
Slot 4.- Pure2 6.2

I am stuck on OpenATV 6.3.whatever I select.
Not sure if this is the problem?

I FTP into my box and had a look at the files in root/boot there are 4 files and a STARTUP FILE, which had the 6.3 details in.
I copied the 1 = ATV 6.2 into this STARTUP file and rebooted.

It booted into ATV 6.2 and the Vermin line is working! (y)(y)

So it seems my 6.3 is now not working. I had a problem when installing 6.3 as I had to get an oscam (always used newcamd!) and tracking down the correct oscam and to install it was a real pain!

Now I know 6.2 is working, I will re- install 6.3 latest!

Anyone got oscom files or direct me please

If recent (flashed or software update in last few weeks) then oscam files now got into the /etc/tuxbox/config/oscam-emu folder instead of the /usr/keys/oscam-atv folder.

The files themselves should be no different to those used in 6.2
 
there are threads on here where it's been discussed but you're right unless it's mentioned in a thread you follow then the change leaves you stressed trying to figure it out
 
Seems after a few reboots I cannot get all the Vermin Channels.
I can get BBC1 SD
Chan 4
Chan 5 all on SD
But all the rest are not clearing!

I have copied the oscam files as follows:
etc/tuxbox/config/oscam_atv_emu/
As this is what my supplier said
etc/tuxbox/oscam_atv_emu/
Is this correct?
OR is it /oscam-atv/ as follows
etc/tuxbox/config/oscam_atv/

I have it as you say
etc/tuxbox/config/oscam_atv_emu/
But not working at all.
Supplier says all OK but not showing online on his server!
My internet is all ok!
Just stumped now.......
 
You have to activate it in softcam manager. I recall it’s called something else now but can’t remember. Will come back to you if no one else points you in the right direction
 
can you advise further ASSBI . Did it come with the original build or did you have to add this?

Seems now I have buggered the bootloader.!! :rage: For some reason the switch from each SLOT was not switching - so I deleted the FIRSTBOOT folder!!
Its now stuck saying boot!! Arhhhhhhh

Tried 2 different usb sticks - FAT32 with the H7 files on, pressing reset - just will NOT bloody load Arhhhh
