Non needed plugins

Just wording is there any plugins that are not needed that come already installed on openatv
i removed dvdplayer.
is there any you have removed to free up some space and keep it running nice

Metrix HD skin
Metrix HD skin components from the python folders.
Mymetrix lite again via ftp in the plugin folders.
HDMICEC (if you don't want to turn on/off your tv with your zgemma remote)
Volume Adjust (if you don't have individual volumes for channels)
Sat Positioner (or whatever its called if you don't have a motorised dish)
Enhanced Movie Player
Teletext.

That should clear up a bit of extra space thank you, then il do a back up.keep that all safe

Metrix is the devil though its big and it comes back every bloody update.

Yea I noticed that, I removed it before and it game back lol.

Here is a question, is there an original os for these boxes, you know like with android there is an untouched verison of the android, then htc Samsung get their hands on it and do there thing, so instead of openatv or open vix, there would be enigma2 os or something that. Just wondering

That is them removed didn't do metrix as you say it will be back in no time

yeah it's called openpli. ha ha. When I installed that for testing purposes there is nothing in it. Stick with vix or atv, yes they load some crap but they also load all the good stuff.
