Poor SNR on BT Sport and SSN

Hi peeps,

Got a good signal on every channel except for SSN HD and BT 2&3 HD.

Anyone else have the same issues?

Only started last day or so. Never had issues before with signals. All new cables fitted a year ago. Could splitter be goosed? But if it was splitter surely it would be all channels and not just these 3?

you tightened everything up all cables ect..
Just a long shot but when on them channels just play with the lead in the back of the box as I’ve had this before and come on! Mine was discovery HD all down to the missus moving the box about when cleaning lol

Haha yeah first thing I did mate. Thought exactly the same that the wife had moved it cleaning but all ok. Even swapped around as got box upstairs aswell but still crap but only on these channels. Next up I’ll check power levels on router

Every now and again a transponder can have issues and one transponder can have multiple channels and then all will have issues.

Hi i just checked and yes they 3 channels are all on 739MHz 6952000, just checked and other channels with same frequency that i didn't know are not working either.

Is anyone having the same issues? If not is there anything i can do on my side?

I've had the same issues for a while now, done all i can to change it, cables, splitters ect, so it's not just you.

As this issue isn’t isolated to just myself I guess it is vermin messing with transponders or have an issue with one and will repair it in due course hopefully.

You can try a manual scan
Menu-setup-reception-manual scan

Change predefined to complete and let it run
Don't run autobouqetmaker
Check in last scanned bouquet and see if any instances of the affected channels work, there will be several of each

Tried that as well mate, same outcome, SNR around 53% for the channels on that frequency. I guess ill just have to hope it improves over time

Checked power levels on hub settings dbmv is anything from 2.8 - 3.9 SNR all around 43

I will get one tomorrow and give it a bash and let you know how i get on. Any particular attenuator i should be getting? Seen one on tool stations 1-20dB variable one for £4
