Oh well---it's nice to see ol' wheelie bin in a good mood.
Nothing like a few bans and deletions to keep the old chap happyLOL
Reaper.

Best to not use TSPanel. It's recommended by many that you use Softcam Manager instead to stop/start cams on the ZGemma.

- Press the blue button on your remote from any channel, select Softcam Manager from the menu that pops up.

- The relevant button to press is detailed at the bottom of the screen in Softcam Manager, whether you're wanting to start/stop a cam.

Job done.

Updating the line on your box is as simple as FTP'ing into it using a client like Filezilla.

-Pop in the IP address of your zgemma box into the "Host:" box e.g. 192.168.1.65
- Username is root
- Password is root
- Click the "Quickconnect" button

After you've connected, in the "Remote site" box do the following:

- Click the + symbol next to the folder to expand them
- Left click on the "usr" directory, then click on the + symbol to the left of it to expand it.
- Left click on the "keys" folder
- Look in the box below, it will show the keys folder contents
- Right-click on the "newcamd.list" file and select "View/Edit"
- It will open your file in a text editor, now edit your line info as documented in this thread e.g

CWS = s****ser****.no-ip.biz <insert rest of line info here making sure there's no spaces at the end>

...becomes...

CWS = s****ser****.port0.org <insert rest of line info here making sure there's no spaces at the end>

OR

CWS = uk**h***.s*****beer.com <insert rest of line info here making sure there's no spaces at the end>

...becomes...

CWS = uk**h***.moo.com <insert rest of line info here making sure there's no spaces at the end>

Once you're happy with the edit, save and close. Select edit and replace if you're prompted, then disconnect from your box.

Now go to your box and restart it from the remote. If you've done everything correctly all your channels should now clear just fine. Otherwise you've done something wrong or your line provider hasn't updated their end yet, so contact them.

Thanks for your reply - I have updated the line using DCC but no luck. I can't apply the fix since the new line my provider sent me isn't the same as those formats you have in your post.

I have e-mailed the provider again because I simply don't understand why it won't work - only thing I can think of is the line he's sent is wrong.

As far as I'm aware from what I've skim read on other forums, to edit/enter the lines manually on the Amiko Mini Combo's you do the following:

- Press "Menu" -> "Internet" -> "Net Client Config"
- Enter the line info manually
- Make sure that "Active Server" is green
- Press the "OK" button

Disclaimer: Don't quote me on this, as I've never used one of these boxes in my life! :fear: lol

EDiT: bees is you goto person on this one 👍just found their thread >here<

Wheelo's after no-one in particular (except the Reaper ;)) I took today away as I thought my head might explode after yesterday.

There are a few posts here today that have been edited, but for now - No harm, no foul.

hi just had a look on the box and follwe a few steps that you said and i have a red light next to my server is this because i hav'nt changed the line info or is it because the server is no longer in use

The one know one seems to be able to fix is the spider beer type,if anyone can pm me with fix would be grateful thanks

Oops, just checked my earlier post and noticed my stupid phone autocorrected that as well.

All updated, cheers afterburn!

@lazylob you'd be best off PM'ing the user "bees", as they wrote the tutorial for that box, which I linked to in my earlier post. I would imagine the red light is because the server is inactive/can't connect.

If you can't get a reply from bees, feel free to PM with the info that's already showing in the boxes and I'll try my best to help.
