Questions and input regarding motorised set up on VIARK and ENIMGA 2

So when you said that the channels are getting enough signal on your VU box, was that using the Zone 1 dish?
No when I was having issues with tnt sports it was my motorised 100cm dish.
That's the viark box connected to master slot A.
But I realised it was issues because my usals coordinates were not exact
I didn't think it makes a difference but obviously those channels it did

Are your usals the same now on both receivers and the correct long & lat for your location
Erm I need to double check vu ultimo but for viark it's perfect now.

My guess is the slight discrepancy isn't a big deal on the ultimo but sensitive on the viark

I'll double check and feedback

Ferret is spot on, something is not right. You should only be having issues with 28e european beam on a 1m dish if you live somewhere like Egypt...
I couldn't see anything wrong with the lnb holder. It's locked in exactly at the place where the plastic parts clip in.

I'll have a closer look when I get a chance.
I wanted to ask that for example if I switch to 0.8w thor frequency.
Is it possible that I get signal on some channels within that frequency and other channels nothing?

For example I get perfect signal on nova sport 1 HD on thor but then on prima sport 1/2 I get nothing

I haven't really explored that satellite frequency properly but was just browsing in it.

Agree my 1m dish on my Xtrend 8500 sig quality on 28.2 is high 80s to 100%, this equates to 70 plus on the GT media in my case , not a viark .

If you only had 48% now 66% then something is off . You could undo the screw on the Lnb slightly to change the focal length, see what that does . And put TNT channel on and send the motor left or right , ( think its in the motor settings ) not in to I checked

Oh wow I didn't realise that slight change in the usals setting didn't save to every single satellite
For example i was getting blank on some thor channels.
I went to installation then antenna usals and saved the settings and all the channels on thor working.

Guess learning new things every day

OK I'll bear that in mind if I get any problems.
Will do some more testing and feedback

I'm on a solid 60 percent on tnt sports 1. Agreed not high as it should be but perfect picture.

Curious your installer did he use a meter

I always use 0.8 as my reference sat , others says you can use any sat in the arc if your in Usals etc . But for me I always start at 0.8. I assume you left him to it.

Good luck

What's the k
Get your installer back its not your problem to sort.

A 1 meter dish collects enough signal to get most of the arc even when the installer has done a poor job, enough signal for them to get away with it.

60% on 28e on a 1 meter dish is a very poor job.
What's the maximum strength you get on tnt sports with viark receivers?

Bring up BBC1HD on your Viark connected to the 1m dish and note the signal quality
Press the F2 button that brings up the on screen tuning menu.
Select Fine tuning
Press the left arrow button on the remote to step the dish west and the right button to step the dish east.
See if your signal improves and which direction improves it.
This will give you an idea if your dish is out of line.

Lol I'm scared if I press the fine tuning it would mess everything up.
