Set it up to record the program you want but make sure you change the channel your watching to FTA channel then it should record, thats the only way i can get it to record using vu solo2 openvix.Works everytime.I think some suppliers allow recording and some want you to have 2 connections for it to record which obviously costs more.

Funny you say that. My h2s does not allow me to playback existing recordings. As soon as I playback a programme which I am recording, it stops! I also have to stick my box onto a FTA channel or put my box on standby in order for it to record.

If the original poster has tried this and is still experiencing the same issue, it is likely to be his provider who doesn't allow recordings due to it technically being considered to be 'multi-room', as he is recording the channel he is watching. He will therefore need a second sub.

Yes, definitely the provider Denoli, which is strange because as you said, you are recording and watching the same one feed. I have heard that one notable provider has blocked any form of recording iptv channels - something to do with copyright issues, which I think is nonsense. In reality, I think it is something to do with the bandwidth on the server. If customers are all recording and watching an iptv channel it puts extra pressure on the server to perform at a good speed, which consequently can result in the glitching/freezing of channels. But hey, I could be totally wrong in my way of thinking. If you are lucky to record and watch the same channel, then you are fortunate to have a good provider my friend. Of course, many providers could argue that if you want to record one channel and watch a second channel, then the customer can purchase a multi-room sub. But in my case, you cannot even record the one channel you are watching before the channel freezes and stops recording. The only way to prevent this from happening is for me to turn iptv off! Crazy really!

What you running your iptv on mines zgemma and all your watching is the playback your box is receiving I assume. Or the provider hasn't got a clue and it must be the set up of the box that isn't alowing to record.

And the extra strain is on the box not the provider so blocking it for been a greedy **** and asking for double the money for nothing.
