ET 8000 HD Recording issue no file to play.

For some time i have noticed my ET 8000 has 0 minutes recorded on my this box.

For backup i have also got the same programs recorded in full on my ET 10000.

Vera was the name in question and had missed the previous program with not recorded?

Third image shows 0 minutes for Vera.

Old box but pure quality.

Why don't you just get a cheapo iptv sub and you can watch full seasons of Vera and On The Buses any time of day or night.
 
Dont need IPTV as i fall asleep looking at laptop and youtube and sat system still useable but no idea on why one program fails to record but second box does.
 
2 more recordings on the 8000 recorded today for Shetland show they have completed on same channel.

Next recording due for Thursday and might have to rename it to The X Files 😂
 
That time again and can see timer fail again ?
Interesting as auto timer shows on the list , but not the usual timer on epg which is strange.
Pressing the green button shows list of timers.
I will need to go into Auto Timers and delete many that are old.

JUST went into box and RED light showing recording 😂

Just rechecked the 8000 box and shows 0 mins for recording Vera yet Webif showed it in recording mode.
 
Did some more digging as to why box shows recording yet nothing recorded.

Rechecked xml file and it updated it , tried a manual timer recording and have minutes on it it.

Thursday is the day of non recording so we will see.
 
Interesting Thursday as it seems the Auto timer fails as in blank recording .
Ordinary timer seems to have worked as i have got a program to view.

2 tuners in recording mode for same programs seems odd?
 
Autotimers create timers. Check both timer files if they are searching/recording a redundant/moved channel that is still in your lamedb. Dead entries remain in lamedb, I clear mine out every so often.
 
I did previously check ITV 3hd and channel worked , last few days i updated my XML fine.
Nearly sure i rechecked frequencies on my Et 10000 and matched + abm runs every night

The strange thing is its VERA on Thursday on AutoTimer and other AutoTimers on ITV 3 record which i found amusing

Please upload your autotimer.xml and timers.xml. They will be in etc/enigma2

How many versions of itv3 hd do you have in your lamedb file? Press up (next to OK), green for satellite, select 28.2. Please also upload your lamedb file.
