My TV, a Toshiba, records in a funny format, no idea what it is, but neither my *nix laptop or windoze laptop recognises it, my *nix laptop can see it, but no standard installed players can play it, VLC etc, windoze doesn't even recognise the stick.
I can check in a couple of weeks when I'm home again what the format is.

Tv records in different formats so would need to change the format from the usb to the format required device you are trying to play those films on

Example mp3 to mp4 avi to mp4 ect

New tv now up on stand, next is zgemma followed by lengthening my newly acquired 10 x 13amp sockets extension.
Need to setup apps and no idea what as not into sports. Now to read handbook.

+ might get a chance to hook up other hdd to play recordings from 6 yrs ago all i have to do is find it as its 2 tb.
