Remote Streaming

Does anybody know if you are able to set up the cloudbox 2 + to be able to watch remotely ? There are discussions around the web about this being possible on Enigma 2 boxes, but mainly relate to the VU+ types.

Have a mate streams his to iphone/ipad with app. But hasnt managed outside home network yet. But can be done ok.

yes you can do with with vu+ player it dose work if you have good upload and download speeds. you will have to have knowledge of port forwarding however, it is fairly easy.

1 download vu+ app to the device you want to stream to it is free in google play
2. set up the basic setiings first to make sure it is working i.e your reciver ip adress
3 i am almost sure you need webif installed on your sat box however, it should be if not go to the plugins menu and download it
now test this in your house to make sure the basics are working i.e you can stream to your device on your home network. after you are done i will take you through the next stage.

stage 2
you will need dns ip adress you will normally get it free for a trial (set this up)
you will then have to set this up in your router aswell
then make sure ports 80 and 8001 are open then you should be done.
sometimes you need to open port 8088 aswell.

Ps heard most up to date apollo ie after 029 has bugfix for webif. Dont know how to use tho so cant test on 030.

After trying 030 etc im going back to 022 with 29/5/14 bootloader as most stable imho
