Resting my new Gigablue UE

On ViX the tuners are all connected to the one with a physical cable plugged into it. I thought daisy chaining was an old workaraound?

Not sure can't find post where it did say openatv was different.

Below are details posted by @Abu Baniaz over on other forum.

Unicable LNB

Connect Unicable LNB to top connection of the "tuner card" in the first "tuner slot". This is tuner letter A for your setup.
The tuners are internally linked. No need for anything to be connected to the same tuner card.

Tuner config A:
Advanced, Lof= unicable LNB, select, make, model.
SCR=1 (Dont mix up with position)

Tuner config B:
Same as above.
SCR=2.
Linked: yes.
linked to A

Tuner config C.
As above
SCR=3
Linked: yes
Linked to B

Tuner config D.
As above
SCR=4
Linked: yes
Linked to C

Tuner config E
As above
SCR 5
Linked: yes
Linked to D

Tuner config F
As above
SCR 6
Linked: yes
Linked to E

Tuner config G
As above
SCR 7
Linked: yes
Linked to F

Tuner config H
As above
SCR 8
Linked: yes
Linked to G

Maybe things are different on ATV and its derivatives :unsure:
I'm pretty sure ViX doesn't allow tuners C - H to connect to any other tuner apart from the physical tuners A & B. I thought this applied to all images now.
I can't check at the moment because I have recordings in progress.
I think this is the thread on the other forum:

So what happens on ATV if you have Tuner A connected to 28.2 and Tuner B connected to 19.2?
With your setup every tuner apart from A would be connected to 19.2?

Well l have my Gigablue 4k connected completely different , like cable from each separate tuner to a splitter with a box attached. (ie) 5 tuners in use with 5 splitters and 5 boxes, for now.
