Signal being blocked

If you are selecting a region that does not apply to you, of course it will fail. Can you please post the screenshot showing area/region you have picked in ABM for freeview. Which mast is the aerial pointing to? You can put your postcode in the freeview checker if you want. If your mast is not shown in Freeview providers in ABM, it will have to be added. Please upload a lamedb file and details of the mast you are pointing to. Or you can use the frequency finer part of ABM, which will create a provider file.

Alternatively, install terrestrial scan plugin and it will create a Terrestrial bouquet. Forget ABM.

Derry but only coming up limavady in list of regions
These are the Limavady frequencies for a manual search, I use the Brougher transmitter so I don't know if these are correct or not.

ABM tries to tune to 706 MHz for Limavady, which is not on your list, so it needs to be updated to 634 if correct. There is also no HD frequency listed, so ABM will not find HD Terrestrial services. If somebody in the area can run Frequency finder in ABM and upload the output it ,we can change it and ABM will work for everyone in the area.

i'm not a satelite person but would a bigger dish make a difference? to get a better signal?

If you are going to persist with ABM, I have edited the ABM provider file using the details online. Update the provider file in ABM and it should work. If you get a version error, you may need to flash a newer image. I highly recommend that you add the provider name to bouquets in ABM. This avoids confusion between different bouquets.

If the information I have found is correct, your HD services are on 682 Mhz. If someone in the region can select a HD Terrestrial (aerial) channel and then select Menu > Information > Service
Upload a screenshot or clear picture. as below. We can then add the HD multiple for the area.
