Need to see the cabling in the top box in the loft

What ever was disconnected in the living
Room is your problem

Are you saying one of those rf was an input on the wall plate from a previous sky box to feed other rooms?

i would have thought top bedroom would have its own supply.

It's very possible The cable going into the
Bedroom could be t.v cable from the roofspace The modulator was the supply from
The bottom reciever

If the modulator is connected to the sky+box
Down stairs then to the wall plate is it powering the six way splitter in the loft
