Sky Q box no subscription

Hi All
Can any one tell me I cancelled my sky subscription can I still use the sky q box to watch Freesat free to view channels BBC itv ch4 ch5 news channels
I know their will be no recording function pvr or apps but I don't need them just to watch the Freeview channels

No as you only rent the sky q equipment and have to send it back or you get charged for not returning the items

So lnb might need to be changed and add an aerial if near a transmitter and could use a combo or triple tuner or have you other boxes.

I have a hybrid lnb fitted so can use old sky HD box I have an old E2 vu solo2 box

I'm not sure myself, I was under the impression that enigma2 boxes don't work with sky Q LNB

You can’t with the sky q lnb unless he has the sky+ he lnb fitted also

They work with a hybrid lnb just fine.

I have hybrid lnb fitted with 1 spare connection but will the wide band feed also work with vu box?

You will only have 1 tuner with the 1 spare connection.
