Box nation is on channel 437 on CWAITES sly numbered list

Will this work on a V8 box? Still newish to all of this as only had box 6 weeks. My supplier put an aj list on but want one that's numbered similar to sky. Will this do that?

So delete the "tp_prog.dbs" file? When u then upgrade by usb do u still select misc files to use this one? Which option do u then select as this is a different file name?

maybe its somethign specific to me, but the latest AJs list puts all the box office channels into the Scottish catagory for favourites ... i did delete previous and rebooted before updating...

You must have been using someone else's channel list before installing AJ's, as there isn't a Scottish favourite category in AJ's list.

To get the correct favourite headers to show, you need to reset your box back to Factory settings after you have installed the latest channel list (menu > tools > factory settings). A message will appear to say that it will erase the channels. Select Yes. A pop-up menu will appear with options to erase other files. DO NOT SELECT ANY OF THESE. Press the blue button on remote. Wait a few seconds for the data to be saved.

You should now have the favourites labeled correctly.

Put the box into standby & then back to ON. (You have to do this now before making any of the changes mentioned below, otherwise they will revert back).

Depending on which model of openbox/skybox you have, these menu options may need to be reset...

Check DHCP is set to ON
Check Local time setting is still on UK
Subtitles will be set to ON
Network Local Settings may be hidden (press 6666)
Volume will be reset to half way
PIN might have been reset to 0000 (not sure about this, as I never change it).

thanks for the quick reply.. i knew it must be something specific to me, i'll try that out later .. you are coreect that i was using a different list previous.

will i have to re-add any lines after the factory reset or are these preserved ?

Your lines shouldn't be affected...but if you haven't got a backup of your line already, it's always best to back it up first.

why is this 4mb bit big for a tp prog list arent they usually 1 mb?

Both AJ's list & CWAITE's list extract to 1,024kB for me.
