Sly 1 HD freezing on adverts

It's definitely not a myth, I don't know why so many people seem to think it is, it's been in the mainstream news.

The Prem League won a High Court Judgement that allows them to block server IP's through UK ISP's if they are caught streaming EPL games. It started during the last two months of last season and was renewed at the beginning of this season. If you use a VPN then it won't affect you, exactly the same as if you're trying to access torrent sites etc that are commonly blocked in the UK.

everything will change again soon I think, premier league will be back in court to amend the ban as the months roll on,lets see what they try to implement next.

I have noticed ads freezing on sky1hd my guess is that sky broadcast the adverts a slight different viewing format then they do for the programs say if you set your picture mode on the tv from 16:9 to auto when the adverts come on your tv adjusts. I think it's causing the providers software to stutter the stream you don't see it on sd as this can demand less resources on the host computer

That makes sense. Finally someone who has a genuine answer. Thanks. My provider is now looking into this as a potential problem.
