Smart IPTV after new Samsung software update

With the Smart IPTV app being removed from the Samsung app store and reportedly being removed from series 7 models of their TV's I have had auto update turned off on my series 6 model

Currently running software version: 1220

Turned my TV on today and a new update is available message popped up. New firmware version: 1230

I've turned auto update off, so it gives 3 options .
Update now
Update later
Details

Clicked on the details button and it gives another option.
Do not update.

Seems clicking on update later will install the update next time you turn the TV off. Update now obviously starts the update immediately.

Has anyone installed the new update and does it remove the Smart IPTV app?
 
I have the samsung series 7 model and i downloaded the smart iptv app and am running it successfully myself?

I actually prefer it to an android box. A lot simpler to use and navigate around and less remotes and cables to worry about. I have a zgemma h2h i use for satelitte and prefer the iptv through the app instead of the h2h.
