Sports channels missing?

For the cost of a VPN i cannot understand why people dont have one just in case.

1 reason is that why should anyone trust a third party VPN supplier any more than dodgy dave two doors down.
NordVPN got caught out being hacked and tried to cover it up, and only came clean when someone found out and reported on it.

these VPN companies can say anything they want to get customers, and it might be true right now, but company ownerships change (often silently) and company policies and the need to make profit often overrides the "we're the good guys" philosophy.

by using a VPN you're essentially giving all your traffic data to them.

even youtuber these days has an ad for a VPN company, because VPN providers are this years cash grab.

of course, the second reason against a VPN is that you lose a lot of your available downstream bandwidth. so you're paying money to get a worse service.
i tested surfshark and went from 220Mbps down to, at best, 75Mbps down.

Had same issue over last few days ...my provider been solid but looks like a leak has caused a block during footy..he is working on a fix but a VPN on my zgemma thanks to dsayers tutorial has me up and running.

But you can also use other precautions such as using tor and a vpn. Benefits of a vpn outweigh the drops in my opinion, especially because you can turn it on and off when you're doing proper work lol

The idea is to put the VPN only on the device you are using that way you will not get a whole load of problems with speed.

Of course it is upto each person to decide if they wish to use one but don't complain if you cannot watch the 3pm kick offs. Suppliers are not magicians

People who want their suppliers to do everything while they do nothing and get glitch free tv, should pay for a sub with these few people I know. I'll not name them fully but they are usually called vm or sly:laughing:

My provider has always told me there was no need for a vpn with his service, he had big problems for just over a week, but all seems to be sorted now.

The issue is once on the radar they will get hit by blocks just a case of how they get around it but switching on a vpn shouldnt be much of an issue till provider sorts it.

Sounds like general issues not blocks, my provider was similar last week they even started doing own Sky sport HD channels as source was letting them down. They seem to be OK now aswell as general UK Channels.

I have already said that mate, never had any problems with blocks ever, he did tell me last week that his service was having issues, lasted a week and a few days, nothing really , its acceptable as it is iptv and these things happen, only bad thing I would say is the lack of a response to his customers, but once again as has been pointed out already, people do have lives to live and its more important to try and fix the problems, rather than responding to loads of emails and pms.

As many have said IPTV never will be perfect just not possible.

All you can is for providers to hopefully fix the issues in reasonable time.

Yesterday you was ready to pull the plug lol

Only joking mate, with issues patience is needed and once resolved all is good and if need be have a backup.
