SSD query

Just wondering if anyone knows if a new SSD would work in an older laptop? The laptop in question was originally a windows 7 i7 Asus laptop. I would be putting windows 10 onto the SSD as I have a genuine copy already.

So long as it's a standard sata drive you'll be fine. I put an SSD in my old Vista Compaq with no issues.

usally their 2.5 sata you should just be able to swap it easy enough,usally one srew to remove the hdd cover under the laptop and another to losen the hdd its self then slide accross
