Anybody help me get premium channels on starview 5 box usb II please

Hi thanks for your quick reply. I have a eurovox box that works fine for all channels but I am setting up a starview 5 usb II box at same address and cnt get premium channels need to flash the box with firmwire do you have latest files and step by step of how to do it please?

Flash it the same way as the Starview 4 via USB stick with the above firmware.

Ok thanks for all your help I loaded that firmware on but still no joy with premium channels, do i need to adjust any of the settings in the scan?

Menu > 1570

Turn Keycode on & set Default key.

Go to a premium channel (s*y sports 1 etc) and let it update.

When I scan for channels should i select NTL then do the menu 1570 thing you just said? Really appreciate this info by the way mate.

Ok start from scratch and make sure your incoming cable and scart lead is in correctly

Menu > Factory Setting
http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/538446#Pin is 0000

OK to delete

English > Installation
Choose N*L
Automatic Scan
Press OK
Channels found
Exit

Menu > 1570
Turn Keycode on & set Default key.
Exit to premium channel & wait for it to update.

Ok did all that mate and it worked but I only found a dozen channels on the scan any ideas mate?

If you are using any splitters , remove the splitter & scan again on your provider.

Scan on 6887 symbol rate

If its still the same try a scan on 6952

Got all the channels only thing now is some channels seem a bit sluggish at appearing when you select them any ideas mate. Thanks so much for helping me. Cheers

No idea why the channels are sluggish. See what its like tomorrow & if its still the same I`ll try and dig up something for you.

well if you read the forum rules and message from admin you will see you have to make one post and wait for server to update and when your user name turns blue you can download
