starview how do i download the new update for my starview box.

You need to copy it onto a usb drive and transfer to your box and follow instructions that you downloaded with the firmware. From top of me head
as Ive not needed to do it as I dont have an sv 6 or 7 but from what Ive read transfer to box via usb, reset box and rescan for your area go to a scrambled
channel and input 1819 on your remote to activate server and wait for it to clear. Could take a while. This is from top of my head so you may want to check elsewhere but think Im right.

If you read around the info is all over the forum, when you get the fw follow instructions below
Unrar (unzip)
Move it to your usb pen
install
restart
do a factory reset
scan for channel in your area
when channel scan complete
go to a channel and type 1819
wait a few minutes and connection should be established

no signal, check your cable wire, try removing from any splitters and connecting it as a single connection. Seems it could be internet problems
