Andyhull3 that's what is getting done now a lot is happening in there house a lot to do and sort including people sit tight all will be good again it's not a perfect science it will get there in time we can but try cant please people all the time got to take rough with smooth
 
anyway what so special about starview that they get attacked ospreynchick, seems to me that the only attacks they are getting is from people complaining on this forum and on there site.

ospreynchick im not a computer genius but it doesnt take an idiot to work out the problems they are having shouldve been long sorted a long time ago any business keeps them selfs protected from this sort of attack,cus at the end of the day it is us the paying public that keep starview going not the other way round
 
you seem to have gone very quiet ospreynchick, and how would i know about protection i and my wife have a small business so we know how to protect are business and are customer satisfaction is the must important thing to us.

So if and when your site is back up and running what is going to stop vermin attacking it again and again, funny when the real and i say the real starview had their forum up and running it was never attacked, so you are talking bull.

I am telling lies where is the lies on saying you buy a Kryptview box and there is no hidden charges, you buy a starview and you have to pay to watch the channels "NO LIES THERE" .

So all the boxes that have been blocked for months and have the red and green lights ...... oh and not forgetting the ones "vermin" are supposed to have blocked they are just going to magically come back to life, lol so far you have failed to meet every time frame both you and Starkings have made, the Kiddy seems to have disappeared from the planet maybe vermin have him, lol so excuse me if you are getting battered and slated on every forum on the net, nobody has any faith in your boxes anymore, and will either move to another cable box that they dont have to pay for or move to a Sat system which is 100 times better !
 
i agree andy its our money there playing with would anyone go to the shop give them 45 quid and walk out with nothing dont think so and why did tony and betty jump ship they knew wat was comeing . willo saying they will be back no chance

Ospreynchick you are obviously the biggest retard on the face of this planet. I admire your support for Starview but surely you can see why people are so annoyed when they have admins on their forum spouting out pure crap. How on earth can you say this is a good service when we have idiots running the show here. Why on earth state such a date when it's going to be fixed when they have no idea of what the hell they are doing. To be quite honest I do not even think Jim could fix this, and their forum is giving out more abuse than Jim did himself on that score, and taking a lot of abuse back. Why? Simple answer complete idiots running the show.

Now I have had Starview's service for the last 2 years and I will say this for it. They provided a good service. Their boxes are way better than Kryptview's for starters they have a USB on so you can simply install the software and even record the TV. For the life of me I cannot see how Kryptview can charge £140 for a box that quite frankly is nowhere near up to date in relation to Starviews, which is £50 cheaper. Krytview's service is also not as good as what Starview gave regarding the scrambling that's for sure. Both boxes have issues and all boxes will have them issues as we all know, but I can have seen both boxes in action with my own eyes, and having seen Kryptview's bad scrambling a couple of years ago, is the reason I got a Starview in the first place. Because Starview's was nowhere near that bad.

I am not supporting Starview here at all, I am merely stating the facts of what I have seen over the past, regarding the 2 boxes. What I will say in support of Kyrptview s least they are not giving their customers the crap Starview having been giving theirs, and to think you have to pay for this service is a joke to be honest, they way they are going about it.

The best road to take without a doubt is the Satellite one. Why? Quite simple you have more places to connect to, and the fact that people such as myself do not subscribe to Virgin, an in time all those who are not subscribed to Virgin will have the cable in their house cut dead. So even buying a new Cable box may be the end for you 6 months down the line from now.

Right now I do not have one, but I am either going to go back on Virgin itself or go down the Satellite road. It makes sense...

Well said intruder pmsl. Good reports on kyrptview apart from the picture heard it freezes quite a lot. ( starview was bad enough) no good for the footy :)
 
thanks for the info nicky i did a bit of research on the sky 3f sounds good and is way cheaper then the kv and sv boxes & sounds like a better option to go for.
 
do you need to get any software download to unscramble to view cable on the sky f3 box or does it unsramble it for you?
