I have a mag 254 and it's nowhere near as quick going through the channel menus as one in that video I act find it a lags a bit also I have subtitles coming on most channels automatically has anyone else had similar problems with mag boxes?

Kingblue the subtitle problem came with the last firmware update for the 254 so either roll back the update to the 1 before last or use the app button on remote to knock off subtitles using the app button though you will have to repeat the procedure every time you switch channels and they appear. I have come across mag boxes lagging and every time it has been the power supply if you have power supply lead from a zegemma lying around use that should sort box lag out.

Mag 254 is very quick no issues.
